Canberra to Adelaide to KL to Male

Long, long day.
First flight at 6AM from Canberra.
Arrive 10:55PM local time in Male which is 6 hours behind Canberra.
Tip: Adelaide international airport has no currency exchange or ATMs once you pass through immigration.
KL it is practically impossible to get US dollars if you have only an Australian bank card.  None of the four ATMs allow it.
On the bright side, the Adelaide to KL flight is quite cool, heading north-west over the Australian Continent, including a wet (this time) Lake Eyre and the Macdonnell Ranges in Central Australia.
As you fly into Asia the skies always get hazy and grey-looking.
Flying into KL, there's a massive stand of palm oil trees where, presumably, rainforest once stood.
I'm enjoying a Carlsberg in the Malaysian Airlines lounge as I write.  Penty of MAS jets on the tarmac out the window.
Wifi could be far better in the main terminal.
If you really need anything for your trip, don't rely on getting it at KLIA.
